YouTube Talks About Bladder or Urinary Tract Infection Also Known as Cystitis

Bladder or Urinary Tract InfectionBladder or Urinary Tract Infections are talked about every where it seems, even YouTube! A video made in the UK actually taken from a talk show host as she interviews two MD’s. One is a Women’s Health Practitioner, the other is a Doctor who practices homeopathic and natural healing. The discussion reviews just what a Bladder or Urinary Tract Infection (Cystitis) is, and what can be done to prevent an infection of the Urinary Tract.

Also discussed is the possibility of using D-Mannose to help cure a Bladder or Urinary Tract Infection

During the program, a lot of time was spent on E. coli being the most popular bacteria associated with Cystitis.  Also, the thought that it is mostly women who suffer from this infection, when in fact men do as well. There were percentages quoted, perhaps those were meant to only be associated with the Doctor’s patients rather than a broad perspective of the amount of people suffering from the infection. It is hard to get all of the information packed into a short 10 minute spot on a TV program, but it is informative.

Another discussion in the program suggest why women are more prone to Bladder or Urinary Tract Infection. The amount of space between the urethra and the anus is problematic, especially considering the urethra has a very small amount of space from the opening to the bladder in females. The male has a larger space between the opening and the bladder.

Although one of the Doctor’s suggested D-Mannose as his most preferred treatment for Bladder or Urinary Tract Infection, most of us don’t have D-Mannose hanging around in our fridges or kitchen cabinets. For a list of things that you could use that probably are in your fridge or cabinet, click here. D-Mannose also does not address the pain as fast as a couple of items in your fridge will.
